Today Joseph is three months old—what a big guy he's getting to be!

At three months, Joseph is definitely more interested in fun and games—here are a couple shots of Tim introducing Joseph to the Big Yellow 'O'!

He's also getting pretty good with his hands. Here he is helping me knit—I think he's as good at it as I am!

Today we all went on another walk around the neighborhood! Here we are getting ready to go!

This time we walked up our right up our street (Country Club Drive) and found, well, the country club! We weren't really sure if this golf course was open for public access, but there weren't any fences! Isn't the skyline lovely?

Happy Valentine's Day! Well, OK, I know it's a little late, but we got a Valentine's Day gift from my parents in the mail yesterday, so I thought we'd have a belated celebration.

This little doggie captured Joseph's attention right away—I think he must like the bright red color.

Well, he also likes the fact that its big, pink, soft nose fits perfectly in his mouth!

On a final note, Joseph is finally losing some of that baby hair, and this shot shows the round bald spot developing where his head rubs on things when he's laying down (in line with his ears).

Although this crab rattle has always been one of Joseph's favorite toys, it has now gained a new preeminence: he can hold it in his own little hand, with a little assistance from a qualified adult, of course!

Of course, anything that goes in the hand goes directly to the mouth, and for that he doesn't need any help at all!

Joseph was in a very talkative mood after Church today! For some reason, the diaper changing table seems to be his favorite spot to chat—I guess it must be at the right height!

We're right in the middle of a big East Coast winter storm! Tim braved the elements to catch a few shots of our first major snowfall here in Blacksburg. Isn't it beautiful?

Mister Pig certainly seems to be enjoying himself!

Since we know nothing about living in snow, we don't even own a snow shovel yet. Hopefully our neighbors will let us borrow theirs for now!

Joseph and I just chilled inside today (well, actually, we kept quite warm), but tomorrow we'll venture out bright and early for Church. I hope the roads aren't too slippery!

This afternoon I managed to catch what I believe are about the cutest shots of the cutest baby in the world. Like my OB said, I may be prejudiced, but then again I may be right.

After tummy time, I caught some videos of Joseph kicking and smiling on his back—how fun!

Now that we finally have all the pictures hung, here are a few shots of our place! Here's a view of our living room from the front entryway.

Here's our kitchen/dining room/computer desk area. Note the window above the kitchen sink—we've never had one of those before!

Here I am working in our third bedroom.

Here's our bedroom.

Last but not least, here's a view of Joseph's room from the doorway. Note the strategic position of the crib—we can spy on him without opening the door more than a crack!

Here's another tub shot of Josephus. There's nothing new to report, but it was just too cute not to share!

We finally got Joseph's real crib set up today! It actually didn't take all that long to assemble, especially considering we got the posts on backwards the first time around!

Tim actually did most of the real work—Joseph and I just supervised. I tried to be helpful by reading the directions out loud, but I think Tim would have figured it out without me.

Here's the finished product! Now we're just adding the finishing touches.

Aunt Harriet made this clown and balloons to hang over my crib when I was a baby! Here Tim's pretending that those big balloons are getting the better of Mister Clown.

It's bath time! Although this is definitely not Joseph's first bath, it is his first one sitting in this nifty bath seat. I just couldn't get the hang of bathing him without it—he and I are both much more at ease now! This little seat's nice because it sits right in your sink, plus I can use the sprayer to rinse him down and keep him warm.
