We were out for a walk and bike ride today on our neighborhood nature trail when Joseph spotted this prickly-pear pad with its very own eye and mouth. It's fun to have kids old enough to get excited about silly stuff like that!

It's so much fun to go out with kids on a walk. They are so observant and point out things we adults would never notice. I sure can see the mouth and eye.
Hey! I see a nose, too! Joseph never misses a thing! His mind is a whirlwind!
